Liberty Martial Arts is part of the American Taekwondo Association (ATA) – the largest martial arts organization in the US. The ATA not only teaches martial arts but also emphasizes the importance of developing life skills. These life skills go beyond physical techniques and are designed to help students become well-rounded individuals who can handle challenges in their personal and professional lives.
One of those life skills is discipline.
Discipline is to obey what is right. It means to practice good habits. And what are good habits? Simply put, they are behaviors that make us better human beings. Discipline begins with obedience. When we are children we must obey our parents, teachers, and mentors, since they are the ones who are responsible to show us the right path.
