West Windsor Library 2:00 – 4:00 PM

Come celebrate the Lunar New Year with performances from Princeton Chinese Language School! Join in on our games, crafts, and activities! All ages are welcome.
Registration not required. No more than 80 admittance for the performances. First come first serve.

Hickory Corner East Windsor Library 2:30 – 3:00 PM

Children ages 5+ are invited to make an awesome dragon mask to welcome in the year of the dragon! This is a great project for younger school-age children who can learn new techniques and for older school-age children who can add more details to their work.

Registration is required prior to the event. Please complete one registration for each participant. If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us as soon as possible to allow a space to open up for another

Poetry Circle: Chinese Folk Songs
Adults – join a musical journey to celebrate the Lunar New Year – the Year of the Dragon! We will explore the rich and diverse heritage of Chinese folk songs, from the festive tunes of the new year celebrations, to the poetic melodies of ancient poets and composers.

We will also listen to some modern classics, such as Descendants of the Dragon by Hou Dejian, and Pian Pian by Dao Lang. And of course, we will not miss the famous Jasmine Flower, which inspired Puccini’s opera Turandot. All are welcome to share this cultural experience with us! Librarian Sharon Wang will lead this presentation.
