The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County are offering a free presentation by Jared Rosenbaum, Botanist, on Thursday, April 13th at 7:00 PM on Wild Plant Culture.

The topic of this presentation is how native edible and medicinal plant species can be integrated into gardens and ecological restoration projects to create habitats that support (and include) humans as part of local ecosystems. This presentation will address stewarding edible and medicinal plant species in native habitats. This includes riparian corridors and glades and discusses how a habitat-based approach translates to yards, parks, and farms.

Jared Rosenbaum is a field botanist and restoration practitioner. He is also a founding partner of Wild Ridge Plants LLC, a New Jersey business that grows local ecotype native plants using sustainable practices.

The presentation will take place over Zoom on April 13th at 7:00 PM. To sign up for the presentation click here. You will receive a confirmation with information on how to join after registering.
