Frequently Asked Questions
What type of new student offer do you have?
New students may experience a week of classes free!
After completing your free week, new students purchase their beginner uniform and equipment package for $149.99 and get their first month of membership for only $10!
What is my pricing after my first discounted month?
LMA monthly recurring membership fees are:
ATA Tigers program for ages 3-6: $150 per month.
Martial Arts Kids, Teens, and Adults programs for ages 7 and older: $225 per month.
There are no additional fees for belt promotions ($50-60 every two months at many other schools) or ATA Worldwide national association membership.
In addition to our monthly recurring cancel-anytime memberships we also offer discounted level based courses.
Do I have to sign a long term contract?
Unlike many other martial arts schools that require students to commit to a 6-12 month contract to enroll we do not.
LMA monthy memberships may be cancelled and restarted anytime online.
For students who do want to commit to achieving longer term goals we offer discounted rank based courses in addition to our monthly membership option.
What if I need to take a break, travel, or participate in other activities?
No problem! Monthy memberships may be cancelled and restarted anytime online.
Courses purchases have no expiration date. You can stop and resume attending classes anytime you'd like.
Are there any other additional fees?
Like other activities, martial arts does require a uniform and some safety equipment as students unlock new levels of training. To get started students will need to purchase their new student uniform and equipment package for $149.99.
We also offer optional private lessons, special events, camps, tournaments, and merchandise that may be purchased.
Can my child participate in other activities while doing martial arts?
Yes. Since martial arts is a year round activity, we have had many successful Black Belts participate in other seasonal activities while training, however, we will still recommend 2 classes per week for individual growth and belt promotion. We offer private lessons for those extra busy seasons where it may be hard to make it to regular class.
When do students earn a new belt?
Belt Promotions are given when students complete their attendance requirement and master the material for that rank, typically every 2-3 months.
How long does it take to get a 1st Degree Black Belt?
While Black Belt isn't the only goal, it typically takes students 7 and older about 3-4 years depending on how often they attend classes, test for rank, and learn their curriculum. Students 3-6 will take approximately 1-4 years longer depending on their age and ability to learn the required curriculum.
Are Black Belts earned at LMA recognized worldwide?
Yes! All belt ranks earned at Liberty Martial Arts are registered with ATA Worldwide and are among the most recognized in the world. ATA Worldwide is the largest martial arts organization in the US and belts earned are recognized at over 1000 ATA schools worldwide.
