Students remain in this program for 9-12 months. Once they reach the intermediate level they become eligible to enroll into ether our Leadership or Competitive Athlete program.

Are there any other additional fees?

Like other activities, martial arts does require equipment as students unlock new levels of training.

New students receive their beginner uniform for FREE at enrollment (a $65 value!).

Beginning students in our Basic Program do not require any additional equipment.

Your ATA national belt testing fees are included in your monthly membership fee ($50-60 every 2-3 months at many other martial arts schools).

ATA International annual membership and nationally recognized belt registration is included in your monthly membership fee ($49 value per year).

Once students move into our Intermediate Leadership or Competitive Athlete Program they are required to purchase additional safety and training equipment to participate (depending on which program they enroll in).

What if I want to take a break, travel, participate in other activities, or cancel?

LMA Basic membership billing may be cancelled with 30 days notice.

Can my child participate in other activities while doing martial arts?

Yes. Since martial arts is a year round activity, we have had many successful Black Belts participate in other seasonal activities while training, however, we will still recommend 2 classes per week for individual growth and belt promotion.

We offer private lessons for those extra busy seasons where it may be hard to make it to regular class.

When do students earn a new belt?

Students test for rank and earn new belt ranks every 2 months.

How long does it take to get a 1st Degree Black Belt?

While Black Belt isn't the only goal, it typically takes students 6 and older about 3-4 years to earn their 1st Degree Black Belt.

Are Black Belts earned at LMA recognized worldwide?

Yes! All belt ranks earned at Liberty Martial Arts are registered with ATA Worldwide and are among the most recognized in the world.

ATA Worldwide is the largest martial arts organization in the US and belts earned are recognized at over 1000 ATA schools worldwide.
