Creating positive habits early is essential for a child to have the best chance for success in life. As the weekend comes to an end, it’s time for families to start preparing for the week ahead. With a few easy to learn habits, children can be confident they’re ready to tackle the new week.
4 Easy To Learn Success Habits:
- Get clothes for the week ready. Have them pick out 5 outfits. Fold the shirt and the pants in half long ways then lay them on top of each other. Lay the undies and socks on top of that then roll the entire outfit up. PRO TIP: Buy a hanging shoe organizer and put one outfit in each slot for each day of the week.
- Bring snacks to school? Choose all 5 days of snacks and put them in a plastic bag. Put the Monday snack in their backpack immediately.
- Fill up water kid’s bottle for Monday and keep cold in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- Organize kid’s backpack and supplies: Take a few minutes on Sunday to ensure their backpack is organized, and that they have all the supplies they need for the week; pens, pencils, notebooks, and textbooks, etc.
By setting a Sunday Routine for Children and building these easy habits, children can start the school week feeling organized, prepared, and ready to learn. It’s a great way to lower stress and set a positive tone for the week.
