Get ready for a unique blend of history, exercise, and a touch of alien intrigue with the upcoming Martian Bike Ride hosted by the Historical Society of West Windsor and West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance.
Taking place on Saturday, October 28th at 10 AM, this 5-mile cycling adventure will guide you through the picturesque 1700s-era West Windsor community of Grovers Mill.
But that’s not all; the ride will also delve into the famous 1938 War of the Worlds broadcast by Orson Welles, which turned this neighborhood into the epicenter of an “alien invasion” frenzy.
Don’t forget to arrive early to decorate your bike and helmet, and don’t be shy about embracing costumes for an added layer of fun.
Please allow 2 hours for this ride. Helmets are required and riders will be asked to sign a waiver. Ages 12 and above; children must be accompanied by an adult.
The ride is FREE but reservations are required. Click here to register.
